  Last year on the day of Vesak, my friends and I gave alms. We did it by giving food to the needy people on the street. 🍚🍱🍲 Just like people, dogs on the street get hungry, So we didn't forget them either. We also gave them food. 💗 We organized this about a month before Vesak. Our family members also helped a lot in this. So on the day before Vesak , all of us friends gathered at our friend's house. We all went together to buy all the necessary items. It's fun doing things like this when friends get together. 😂💓 So on the day of Vesak, everyone gets up early in the morning and cooks. All the necessary ingredients were prepared the night before, so we were able to cook quickly. After that, after parceling the food, we came to the town.   Today I am going to talk about my first swimming pool experience. 😝 I had that experience last year.    For one of my best friend's birthday, her parents had decided to take all of us friends for a spend the day. 🎉 They had chosen Hotel H 2 O for that. It is a hotel located in a beautiful environment surrounded by mountains. So we all went to the hotel that morning and arranged a surprise birthday party for my friend. 🎊 It was around ten in the morning when the party started. We cut the cake 🎂 and got ready for what everyone was waiting for, going to the swimming pool. This was the first experience for many, so everyone was very excited. So we went down to the pool and played different ways with a ball. It was a very fun moment. 💓   None of us who were laughing and happy didn't care about the time. 😂 After a while it started to rain. 💧 But no one had any intention of getting into the swimming pool.   Being selected for university is one of the highest achievements of my life so far. So I got the highest appreciation from school because of that.😍 I did my education from grade 1 to grade 13 at St Joseph’s Girls College, Gampola. The year 2020, when I took A/L exam, was the year in which the most number of people got university admissions. About twenty-five children.  So, for the fame given to the school, the school had organized a ceremony for us. 🎉 The students who were selected for the university were greeted with a bouquet of flowers and we were escorted to the main hall by the band.  That occasion made me feel proud and made me very happy and emotional.😜💓 On that day we were given a plaque. And at the end of the event, we were treated to a feast of food, 🍪🍔🍵 which made everyone happy. 😁 Also, we were invited to the prize ceremony held by the school last time. This is about a very interesting day I spent last year. 😍 All the children in our family were very free and bored as they had completed their exams last year. So, one afternoon spent in such a lazy way, I saw a video of a group of friends having a girls night. I loved it so much that I showed it to my sisters. They also liked it a lot, so we talked about whether we should do the same thing. So we decided to involve our cousins in it. 😚💗 We talked very excitedly that we should have a girls night party when they are at our house for vacation.  So after about a month, the day that we were all eagerly waiting for came. 😝👏 We decided to have the girls night party in my room.   This is about my twenty-first birthday. My birthday is on the 23rd of October. So last year's birthday was my happiest birthday so far. 😝 So from the beginning of the day, my school friends and university friends and relatives wished me. The day before that, some of my relatives had come to our house. So on the morning of my birthday, as soon as I woke up, they and my family members wished me well and gave me gifts. 💗 At noon, I went on a day out with some of my closest friends. They asked for a treat for my birthday so we went to Vito wood fired pizza in Kandy. 🍕😜 There my friends surprised me with a cake and gifts.  🍰 So it was a lovely evening. 😍 We enjoyed it a lot.     Last year I had a party with my friends for Christmas.   It was a night party, held to celebrate Christmas.   Even though we don't have any Christian friends in our gang, we wanted our friends to get together and be happy after a while.  We chose Christmas Eve for that. 😜⛄ So we chose the balcony of my friend Amalie's house to host the party.   On the morning of the party, we gathered at Amalie's house and started cleaning the party area.  Around noon, we decorated our party area with red-covered mattresses. - Next was making the Christmas tree which was everyone's favorite part. 🌲  Everyone was very excited to decorate our little Christmas tree with Christmas decorations. 🎊  Amali's brother helped us because it was difficult for us to get the current for the bulbs we put on the Christmas tree.
